When a connector exists
A skill describes how to approach a task or format its output. A connector exposes a configured capability. The workflow can use only the skills and connectors that are available and permitted for that run.
Skills capture how the agent should approach a type of task. Built-in skills cover research, writing, review, and planning. Imported skills can encode organization-specific workflows and playbooks.
MCP servers give the agent access to real tools running on your device. Only connectors you trust, configure, and explicitly enable are exposed to the agent. Failed servers are disabled and not offered as tools.
Available tools depend on the connectors installed and enabled in your Think-Act setup. A workflow that needs an unavailable connector should report the missing requirement before it continues.
Use trusted connectors, confirmation rules, activity logs, and supported recovery controls to understand what a workflow can do and review what happened. The security model explains how these safeguards fit together.
Trusted tools only
The agent can only use tools from connectors that are installed, configured, and explicitly enabled. Failed tools are automatically disabled to prevent unknown behavior.
Confirmation gates
Risky tool calls—those that modify files, send messages, or affect external systems—can require explicit approval before the agent proceeds.
Rewind & recovery
Checkpoints let you review before-and-after states around a run. Where supported, rewind to an earlier point before retrying a step that changed something.
Full visibility
Activity logs, tool observations, and execution records stay accessible. Local or private endpoints can be configured for sensitive data where required.
